C.S. Lewis was a boy whose mother died when he was a young boy and then he went through a series of boarding schools, some good some bad. Later when he was a university professor he wrote undoubtedly his most famous series, The Chronicles of Narnia which were a great success.
This book on the founder of YWAM (Youth with a Mission) is interesting and I enjoyed reading it. It recounts Loren's life completely and captures his vision to found a new mission that was youth-based. Loren is an amazing example of how God is able to and uses all of his children for the advancement of his kingdom.
Jim Elliot was a man of faith as shown in his actions of giving his life for Christ in the ministry among the Auca Indians. Although Jim Elliot, Pete Fleming, Ed McCully, Nate Saint and Roger Youderian all gave up their lives for Christ, the ministry there did not end.
