I was surprised when I was told that Jerry B. Jenkins had written a book that wasn’t about end times. The only books of his that I had previously seen were the Left Behind series and books like them. Soon, by Jerry Jenkins, convinces me that some authors really don't write outside of their favorite genre. Jenkins is well-known for co-authoring the Left Behind series, and this book follows in that genre's footsteps.
